ECO compact
Developed for the smallest workspaces
As a technology leader in the field of smooth and deep rolling, ECOROLL is expanding its existing range of products with the new Eco compact product series. ECOROLL is thus following the trend towards miniaturization of components and is launching a product range on the market that is explicitly tailored to the requirements of smaller components. Our products are ideal for use with all machine types that have a limited working area, such as sliding headstock automatic lathes, Swiss-type machines or rotary transfer machines.
Multi-roller tool GMI

The new GMI design combines all the familiar advantages of the G-tool series in an extremely small design for the production of very small parts in confined working spaces. The GMI concept is based on the wishes of our customers to be able to use the well-known G-tool on sliding headstock lathes. The entire adjustment mechanism has been relocated to the tool shank. This has several advantages for use in machines with small installation spaces. The overhang length of the entire tool and the overall diameter have been significantly reduced. The indexing mechanism is located directly in the tool shank.
Multi-roller tool RA

The task of the multi-roller roller burnishing tools type RA is the economical burnishing of cylindrical outer shell surfaces. The compact design of these tools takes particular account of the limited installation space for tools in sliding headstock automatic lathes, Swiss-type machines or rotary transfer machines. Due to their design, these tools are always designed for a specific machining diameter and, thanks to the multi-roller design, enable high feed rates and therefore high productivity in series and mass production.
Roller burnishing tool UMK

Smoothing tools of the UMK type are a special design and have been specially developed for smoothing convex end faces on rotationally symmetrical components. The rolling element of these tools is a smoothing calotte which corresponds to the negative contour of a component end face with a convex radius. To process a corresponding end face, the tool is moved coaxially over the end of the component, applying a defined rolling force, and pressed against the surface. The component or tool rotates and touches the convex hemisphere, including the center of the component. This process is completed within a few component revolutions (or tool revolutions).

Technology portfolio
ROLLER BURNISHING

- production of smooth or predefined surface structures
- use on all conventional or CNC machines
- finishing in one clamping operation
- short processing time and elimination of set-up and transportation costs
- increase in surface hardness
- increased wear resistance
- can be used with minimum quantity lubrication
DEEP ROLLING

- Finishing in one clamping operation
- Use on conventional or CNC machines
- For a wide range of workpiece geometries
- Prevents stress corrosion cracking
- Increase in surface hardness
- Significant increase in service life
- Extraordinary increase in the fatigue strength of a component
SKIVING/ROLLER BURNISHING

- Functionally smooth surfaces, less friction, less wear
- Significant reduction in circular and cylinder form errors
- Suitable for cold-drawn and hot-rolled tubes
- For diameter ranges from 28 to 800 mm
- Possible processes: Combined boring - skiving - roller burnishing, skiving on lathes
